The Web3
You Can Browse
A decentralized domain name is only as powerful as the tools that can resolve it. Atom Registry Browser brings Web3 DNS directly into Chrome and Edge — no separate browser, no command line. Type a name. Hit Enter. Arrive.
"Owning a name on-chain means nothing if the only way to visit it is a blockchain explorer. Decentralized domains need a decentralized browsing experience."
The Atom Registry Browser Extension bridges the gap between on-chain ownership and real-world usability. Every name registered on Atom Registry resolves through CosmWasm smart contracts on Cosmos Hub — immutable, censor-proof, and verifiable by anyone. This extension makes those names work exactly like traditional domains, in the browser you already use, right now.
Everything You Need.
Nothing You Don't.
Native Web3 DNS Resolution
Type any Atom Registry domain directly into your Chrome address bar. Navigate straight to the site — no redirects, no search pages. Resolution happens on-chain via Cosmos Hub.
AR Omnibox Shortcut
Type ar followed by any Web3 domain in Chrome's address bar for instant resolution. Fast, techie, and satisfying. Your non-technical friends will be impressed.
Keplr Wallet Integration
Connect your Keplr wallet directly from the extension popup. View your registered names and TLDs, check availability, and manage your Atom Registry portfolio without leaving your browser.
Name Availability Search
Browse all active TLDs with open registration, check if a name is taken, and get sent directly to Atom Registry to complete registration. The full workflow in one click.
Portfolio Dashboard
See every name and TLD registered to your connected wallet. Track your total holdings, TLD count, and subdomain count. Your on-chain identity, summarized.
Zero Tracking, Zero Ads
The extension queries Cosmos Hub directly. No data passes through Atom Registry servers during resolution. Your browsing activity is between you and the blockchain.
The ar Command
Feels like a superpower the first time you use it.
Press ar in Chrome's address bar, type any Web3 domain, press Enter. The extension resolves it against Cosmos Hub and navigates you directly. No extra steps. Just the domain and where it takes you.
Up and Running in 60 Seconds
Download the Extension
Chromium extensions from zip — no Chrome Web Store required.
Download atom-registry-extension.zipUnzip the File
Extract to a permanent folder. Don't delete it — Chrome needs it to stay loaded. Right-click → Extract All on Windows, double-click on Mac.
Important — Check for nested folders
After extracting, open the folder. If you see another folder inside rather than files like manifest.json, go into that inner folder — that's the one you select in step 4. Chrome requires manifest.json to be at the root of the folder you load, not buried inside a subfolder.
Open Extensions Page
Navigate to chrome://extensions and toggle Developer Mode on in the top-right corner.
Load Unpacked
Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder. The Atom Registry extension appears in your toolbar immediately.
Pin & Browse
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find Atom Registry, and pin it. Then type cosmos.atom in your address bar and enter the decentralized web.
Your Registry.
Always One Click Away.
